Here’s how to apply to become the Entrepreneur® of 2024 and garner the recognition, publicity, and prizes to catapult your success.

Check the rules and enter by May 31. Entrepreneur editors, in collaboration with renowned entrepreneurs, will review and select 20 semi-finalists.
Semi-Finalist and Finalist Announcements
Entrepreneur will publicly announce the 20 semi-finalists on September 4th. Each semi-finalist will be featured in an article on Entrepreneur.com and across Entrepreneur's social media pages. On October 8th, we'll announce our three finalists with their videos published.
Winner Reveal
On October 22nd, we’ll reveal the Entrepreneur® of 2024 and the two runners up who will be featured in the Nov/Dec issue of Entrepreneur magazine.
Who We Are Looking For...
We’re looking for innovative business owners of any size, big or small, who’ve made positive contributions to those around them. It doesn't matter if you are a business with $50K in revenue or $5M in revenue, if you’ve made an impact on your customers’ lives, your employees, industry and your community, this is the time to share your story. Do it now for a chance to become the Entrepreneur® of 2024 and be featured on the cover of Entrepreneur magazine.
FAQ
Who is eligible?
This contest is open to any individual, who, as of March 4, 2024 is:

A citizen or legal resident of the United States
-
18 years of age or older

The founder or a co-founder of a company of any size
-
The sole or a primary decision-maker for the company and involved in its day-to-day operations
-
Have its headquarters within the United States
-
Have been in existence and continuously conducting business since at least 2022 up to the present, as evidenced in part by a “live” and periodically-updated website containing current information about its business and products/services

Have been created as a startup and not the result of a “spin-off” from a pre-existing business, has at all times been a privately-held company, and during its existence was never an affiliate of any other company or business

When is the deadline to enter?
Application forms must be submitted by May 31, 2024.
What do winners receive?
The Grand Prize Winner will be featured on the cover of the November-December 2024 issue of Entrepreneur magazine. All three finalists will be featured in the November-December 2024 issue of Entrepreneur® magazine.
Each finalist will also be featured in a professionally produced editorial video published on Entrepreneur.com and its syndication partners.
All of the 20 semi-finalists, including the Grand Prize Winner and runners-up, will be featured in individual articles posted on Entrepreneur.com/entrepreneur-of-2024 and Entrepreneur’s various social media channels.
Who are the judges?
The Entrepreneur of 2024 judging panel will comprise Entrepreneur editors, business executives and well-known personalities.
What are you judging applications on?
We’re looking to highlight entrepreneurs whose hard work and bold leadership paid off in unique and notable ways within the past year. (We're defining the past year as any time from the beginning of 2023 to when you submit this application in 2024.)
Will the company revenue submitted in my entry form be published?
No, revenue information from your application will not be published. This information is used solely for the judges' understanding of your company.

Entrepreneur® of 2024 Submission Form
With its Entrepreneur® of 2024 award, Entrepreneur wants to celebrate entrepreneurs who made a significant impact on their businesses and customers within the past year.
Entrants must be a founder (or co-founder) and one of the primary decision-makers at their company. We do not have specific requirements for company revenue, size, or how long you’ve been operating, but will be heavily weighing the impact of big decisions, risks, transformative new products or services, turnarounds, and other impactful events driven by your leadership.
